About the Event

AYURVEDA is the traditional Eastern system of medicine which is based on the balance of bodily systems and uses diet, herbal treatment and yogic breathing. Ancient Ayurvedic texts date back as far as 6000BC, and Ayurveda is one of the few ancient systems of medicine that is still practiced today. Still, to this day, Ayurveda continues to be one of the world’s most sophisticated and powerful mind-body health systems.

Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge). It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay vibrant and healthy while realizing their full human potential.

Yoga/meditation is just one of the many powerful tools the ancient Ayurvedic physicians prescribed for balancing the mind and body. Ayurveda also offers many other practices for expanding self-awareness and cultivating your innate state of balance, another of those being cleansing.

We clean the outside of our bodies every day, but what about the inside? According to Ayurveda there is hardly any health condition that is not linked to digestion or restricted liver performance.

This 3 hour workshop will explore the Ayurvedic way to rid the system of accumulative toxins that contribute towards ill health and disease.

The season of transformation and hope is nearly upon us. Learn how to safely spring clean the body, mind and soul, casting off the winter blues and ridding that extra layer of accumulated winter fat to emerge lighter, happier and healthier with improved energy and vibrancy.

Seasonal changes are a delicate time for our health. It is often at this juncture in weather cycles that we can fall ill. By making a few subtle changes to your daily routine you will see immediate results.

Avoiding issues such as bloating or constipation, skin flare-ups, digestive issues, insomnia, anxiety, hot flashes, and more...

This workshop will explore the many reasons behind why we should cleanse our digestive system, and how to cleanse the liver with natural, potent Ayurvedic herbs that alleviate the system from pollutants, flush out toxins, alkalise the body and reset its balance and immune system regulation.

You WILL feel energised and vibrant by implementing these practices in to your daily routine.

Below are some of the signs you may need to undergo a liver cleanse:

-Low Energy

-Excess weight

-Skin and hair dry and dull

-Feeling sluggish

-Food cravings

-Mood swings

-Hot flashes

-Digestive issues

-Bad smelling breath

As a registered teacher !YN500, Tina eventually became a yoga elder, a pre- and post-natal teacher, a specialist children’s yoga teacher and a practising endocrine disorders specialist.

Yet somehow she felt she was still missing the final jigsaw piece - until she discovered the Science of Ayurveda. Here was a way to balance her body through diet and digestion and her journey took a new turn.

Training in India and the UK to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Nutritionist has only enhanced Tina’s passion for sharing the knowledge and health benefits she has grown to appreciate so much.

She teaches yoga, trains next generation yoga teachers at her YOGI Teacher Training Academy and she works with private clients for Ayurvedic, diet management and lifestyle counselling. Tina also produces a range of YOGI Health Ayurvedic Inspiration Products.
