The Wellbeing Campus
We’re a creative, non-profit community project; a synergistic blend of yoga, mindfulness and a profound love of the outdoors.
We deliver a variety yoga and pilates classes, meditation sessions, mindfulness and other well-being courses, beach yoga, woodland events and more.
Our aim is simple: to positively influence the mental health and overall well-being of the local community and beyond, through sharing the ancient teachings of yoga, meditation and heartfelt connection.
We’re working towards building a self-sustainable model whereby a proportion of our intake – after staff costs and overheads are covered – goes towards supporting those struggling with stress, anxiety, chronic illness and social isolation. We want our offerings to be available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. COVID largely halted our progress in his area; however, our drive and passion to serve others will always spur us on, no matter what!
One-to-one, group and corporate wellness programs are also available - programs that combine ancient wisdom with research-led practice in order to achieve lasting changes.
MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness training can have a beneficial impact on a range of different issues in life. We offer daily classes and courses as well as evidence-based interventions focused specifically on anxiety, stress and chronic illness.

Clinical trials have shown that mindfulness meditation can be as effective as prescription painkillers in reducing pain, and can enhance the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Mindfulness can also reduce the anxiety, depression, irritability, exhaustion, and insomnia that arises from chronic pain and illness. There is also evidence demonstrating its effectiveness in helping people to manage anxiety, depression, chronic stress and overwhelm.

The teachers we work with are experienced mindfulness practitioners and have undergone in-depth, rigorous training with the internationally recognised organization, Breathworks. They are qualified to teach mindfulness approaches in two main areas: Mindfulness for Stress and Mindfulness for Health.
Happiness and resilience are both skills that can be cultivated through practicing mindfulness with an experienced teacher. This is what the ancient practice of mindfulness teaches, and what modern psychology research has shown. Neuroscience shows us that practicing both mindfulness and compassion can alter the structure and function of the brain, helping us to foster steady-mindedness, open-heartedness and increased connectedness to oneself and others.
MINDFULNESS FOR STRESS
This 8-week course, taught by an experienced teacher in a supportive and friendly group setting, will teach you how to boost your happiness and well-being, find new sources of resilience, joy, and calm in your life, and to cope with stress, anxiety, fear, and depression. You will learn the foundational skills of mindfulness, compassion, and meditation, and how to apply them in your life in a way that really makes a difference.
MINDFULNESS FOR HEALTH
Mindfulness for Health is a unique meditation programme developed by Vidyamala Burch to help her cope with severe pain and health complications following two major spinal injuries. She is now living a rich and fulfilling life, with more well-being than ever. The course has been backed with huge amounts of research, and changed the lives of thousands of people.
ONE-TO-ONE COACHING
We offer one-to-one support for those struggling with the likes of anxiety, depression, stress or chronic health conditions. Our mindfulness teachers are fully trained and experienced in working with clients in a more interpersonal and in-depth manner. This type of support may be suitable for those wanting to explore how the principles and practice of mindfulness can be applied to specific issues they may be facing.

VINYASA YOGA
This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. All of the classes at The Wellbeing Campus attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind.
ASHTANGA YOGA
Focus on the present moment. Among its many benefits, this class helps improve numerous aspects of your life including reaction time and short term memory. Those who have tried this practice have described feeling more relaxed and less distracted by their fleeting thoughts, demonstrating an enhanced ability to solve problems and recall information better.
PREGNANT YOGA
This particular class helps build a strong core from which one can transition into new positions and exercises. This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.
