
MINDFULNESS TRAINING
Mindfulness training can have a beneficial impact on a range of different issues in life. We offer daily classes and courses as well as evidence-based interventions focused specifically on anxiety, stress, chronic illness and cancer care. ​

Clinical trials have shown that mindfulness meditation can be as effective as prescription painkillers in reducing pain, and can enhance the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Mindfulness can also reduce the anxiety, depression, irritability, exhaustion, and insomnia that arises from chronic pain and illness. There is also evidence demonstrating its effectiveness in helping people to manage anxiety, depression, chronic stress and overwhelm.
​​​The teachers we work with are experienced mindfulness practitioners and have undergone in-depth, rigorous training with the internationally recognised organization, Breathworks. They are qualified to teach mindfulness approaches in two main areas: Mindfulness for Stress and Mindfulness for Health.
Happiness and resilience are both skills that can be cultivated through practicing mindfulness with an experienced teacher. This is what the ancient practice of mindfulness teaches, and what modern psychology research has shown. Neuroscience shows us that practicing both mindfulness and compassion can alter the structure and function of the brain, helping us to foster steady-mindedness, open-heartedness and increased connectedness to oneself and others.

ONE-TO-ONE COACHING
We offer one-to-one support for those struggling with the likes of anxiety, depression, stress or chronic health conditions. Our mindfulness teachers are fully trained and experienced in working with clients in a more interpersonal and in-depth manner. This type of support may be suitable for those wanting to explore how the principles and practice of mindfulness can be applied to specific issues they may be facing.

MINDFULNESS FOR HEALTH
Mindfulness for Health is a unique meditation programme developed by Vidyamala Burch to help her cope with severe pain and health complications following two major spinal injuries. She is now living a rich and fulfilling life, with more well-being than ever. The course has been backed with huge amounts of research, and changed the lives of thousands of people.

MINDFULNESS FOR CANCER CARE
Our 8-week Mindfulness for Cancer Care course is specifically crafted for those navigating the complexities of pain and chronic health conditions, with a particular focus on individuals with a cancer diagnosis. Developed by mindfulness experts who have overcome similar challenges, this program is designed to empower and support participants on their wellness journey.

MINDFULNESS FOR STRESS
This 8-week course, taught by an experienced teacher in a supportive and friendly group setting, will teach you how to boost your happiness and well-being, find new sources of resilience, joy, and calm in your life, and to cope with stress, anxiety, fear, and depression. You will learn the foundational skills of mindfulness, compassion, and meditation, and how to apply them in your life in a way that really makes a difference.
